DENTAL IMPLANT-BASED ORAL REHABILITATION PACKAGES
Our specialty is tooth replacement with implants, including one-phase implant-based oral rehabilitation for the upper, lower, or both jawbones. We perform this intervention under general anesthesia, the cost of which is included in the implantation package price!
The immediate loading implant and the associated advanced technology allow oral rehabilitation to be completed in an optimal case in 5-6 working days. That includes the long-term temporary dentures as well. Oral rehabilitation becomes necessary in the case of complete tooth loss or when the remaining teeth are unsuitable for further dental treatment.
Dental replacement with implants can refer to replacing a single or several teeth. In such cases, we prepare a price quote and a treatment plan based on a consultation or a panoramic X-ray sent by the patient.
We were among the first to recommend the All-on-4 and All-on-6 oral rehabilitation solutions to our patients. The All-on-4 procedure was developed in 1998 by Dr. Paulo Malo, a Portuguese implantologist. The first intervention was carried out in Lisbon. Later, Nobel Biocare, one of the world’s leading implant manufacturing companies, joined the research.

IMPLANT-BASED PERMANENT DENTURES
Zirconium dentures
– They are made with CadCam technology, maximum precision.
– It is made from one block, so it is less vulnerable.
– Zirconia dentures are aesthetically flawless, so there is no need for a porcelain coating.
– The hardness of a zirconium dental prosthesis is similar to that of a natural tooth.
– An ideal choice if someone tends to grind their teeth.
– Stable and wear-resistant, therefore long-lasting.
– It is preparable relatively quickly
Metal-ceramic dentures
Zirconium dentures are high-quality and durable dentures, but if, for some reason, it is not usable, metal ceramics are the next best solution. They make metal-ceramic dentures of a special nickel-free cobalt alloy. The material is solid and flexible so it can withstand heavy loads. For this reason, it is particularly suitable for making complete dentures. Nickel-free is an essential factor due to the risk of metal allergy.
Other features:
– Durable, long-term dental replacement solution.
– Can be prepared quickly.
– Better price.
– High load capacity.
– Suitable for making complete dentures.
– It has many decades of experience behind it.
COMPARISON OF TWO-PHASE AND ONE-PHASE IMPLANTS
WHAT IS ORAL REHABILITATION?
Oral rehabilitation is necessary when there are no teeth in the oral cavity at all, or there are teeth, but they are unsuitable for dental treatment. Oral rehabilitation can occur traditionally, where the denture rests on the gums and is fixed with glue. Another option is dental implant-based oral rehabilitation when the denture is attached to the implanted implants. Oral rehabilitation is possible on the upper jawbone, the lower jawbone, or both. The latter is called full oral rehabilitation.
WHY A LONG-TERM TEMPORARY DENTURE IS NECESSARY?
Tooth extractions and the placement of implants put some strain on the gums, which causes them to swell and become slightly deformed. The sampling takes place in this changed, temporary state, which is one of the reasons why only temporary dentures are possible. Another reason is that the final porcelain denture would put too much stress on the newly inserted implants, which have not yet been integrated into the bone structure. That is why a lighter, durable temporary denture made of acrylic is necessary, which, in addition to being aesthetic, provides perfect biting and chewing strength.
The inflammation goes away in a short time, and the gums recede and return to a normal state, but the complete and safe ossification of the implants takes a longer time, 4-6 months. Generally, after six months, we recommend replacing the long-term temporary dentures with permanent dentures. (The price of the final dentures is not included in the package price of dental implantation.)
There is a recommendation to replace long-term temporary dentures with permanent dentures after about six months. After this time has passed, it also becomes clear that the fixation and ossification of the implants are occurring correctly. We will make the final denture(s) if everything is OK. It can be metal-ceramic or zirconium dentures. Which is more suitable for a patient can be decided during a personal consultation with the implantologist.
