In dental implantology, two methods are commonly used today: dentures with a one-phase immediate loading implant and conventional two-phase implant. Although both cases involve implantation, there are significant differences between the two solutions, both in terms of the implants implanted and the implantation technology.
iliDent Implantology and Oral Surgery Center specializes in full dentures and full bridges fixed on one-phase, immediate loading implants. This can be a full denture for the lower or upper jaw, but it can also be complete oral rehabilitation. The original one-phase Swiss implants and the associated advanced technology allow complete oral rehabilitation to be completed in 3-5 days.
The dental prosthesis method we recommend is a perfect solution primarily for those who have no teeth that suitable for prosthetic care, or who have a significant bone deficiency. WHY DO I NEED LONG-TERM TEMPORARY DENTURE?
Tooth extractions and implantation hurt the gums somewhat, so it swells and deforms slightly. In this temporary state, only temporary dentures can be made. When the inflammation goes away, the gums retract and return to normal, and only then is correct sampling possible for the final denture.
It is recommended to replace the long-term temporary denture after 5-8 months with the final denture. This can be porcelain fused or zirconium denture. The most appropriate one for a given patient can be decided in consultation with the implantologist specialist.
