DENTAL IMPLANT-BASED DENTURES by IMPLANT SPECIALIST

Dental implants are possible in two types: one-phase implant and two-phase implant. In both cases, dental implantation takes place, but there are significant differences in the technique of both the implants and the implantation. We will discuss the difference in several areas on our website.

The reason for implanting a dental implant can be a single crown, bridge, or complete denture on the lower, upper, or both jawbones. The immediate loading implant and the associated advanced technology allow a full oral rehabilitation to be ready in up to 5 days, including the long-term temporary denture(s). Please see the ORAL REHABILITATION PACKAGES treatments, and do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

One-phase-implant vs. two-phase implant - What are the differences

WHAT IS ORAL REHABILITATION?
Oral rehabilitation is necessary when there are no teeth in the oral cavity at all, or there are teeth, but they are unsuitable for dental treatment. Oral rehabilitation can occur traditionally, where the denture rests on the gums and is fixed with glue. Another option is dental implant-based oral rehabilitation when the denture is attached to the implanted implants. Oral rehabilitation is possible on the upper jawbone, the lower jawbone, or both. The latter is called full oral rehabilitation.

WHY DO I NEED A LONG-TERM TEMPORARY DENTURE?
Tooth extractions and implantation hurt the gums somewhat, swelling and deforming slightly. In this temporary state, only temporary dentures are possible. When the inflammation goes away, the gums retract and return to normal, and only then is correct sampling possible for the permanent denture.

PERMANENT DENTURE
The patient and the doctor decide which is more appropriate for the case.
