Dental implant package price is more cost-effective than price by piece
When it comes to dental implants, the first thing we think about is that it is indeed a perfect solution, but it is very expensive. That is just half true. In this paper, we put this apparent contradiction under scrutiny whether or not the implant package price is more favorable than the price calculated based on the price by piece calculation. We do this by taking into consideration things that many people don’t even think about or take into consideration. Yet, dental implant costs can be affected by certain circumstances.
Some of the differences
The difference between the price of the implant package price and the price determined on the basis of the number of implants implanted is examined for complete dentures, based on the three most common dentures. These include a removable-adhesive prosthesis made in a conventional manner, a two-phase implant, and a one-phase immediately loadable implant. The latter two are fixed dentures, which means that they are not removable by the patient, i.e., they are fixed to the implants.
With regard to the implant package price, in the present case, we are not primarily concerned with whether or not the price paid for the service is high. On the one hand, what is expensive and what is not depends fundamentally on the financial situation of the person, on the other hand, there are things that simply cost a lot. Nonetheless, we are primarily talking to those who can afford such an expense. We will examine whether it is worth paying this amount for a denture, or if we are decided to pay, is it better or not to choose the implant package price.
Of the three types of dentures, the traditional removable prosthesis is the most common, primarily and above all because of its relative cheapness. Of course, cheapness is understood in relation to the prices of the dentures fixed on implants, as it is really costly. However, for “cheapness” when using dentures, we pay a lot for suffering from wearing and functional problems.
In terms of price, in second place is the denture fixed on one-phase, immediate loading implants. This can cost up to 10-15% less than a denture fixed on traditional two-phase implants. A one-phase implant can also cost less because it consists of a single piece, so you don’t have to pay separately for each implant accessory. Of course, the wages associated with each element and phase must also be paid individually, so in the end, a lot of little goes a lot …
A one-phase implant has numerous advantages over a two-phase. This is not primarily the lower price, although it is also an important factor. You can learn more about the advantages of dentures made with one-phase implants over two-phase ones here.
Here are just two important benefits:
1. It can be completed in one phase, very quickly, in up to 5 days.
2. Can also be used in people who have a significant bone deficiency.
We mentioned earlier that this writing is mainly for those who would otherwise be able to afford this type of denture, i.e. the price of implant dentures is not the most important factor in the decision. In our experience, in this case, the two most common reasons are unfounded fear of intervention and carelessness. The latter is especially common when the existing tooth is in very poor condition but is still able to perform its function at some level.
What exactly does the implant package price mean?
The package price is an expense calculated on the basis of all costs, which includes everything that can be specified separately. In our case, it includes the prices of implants, implant accessories (for two-phase implants), and all the costs associated with implantation, including the price of a permanent temporary denture, and so on. Those interested in dentures can be sure that the implant package price given to them is the exact amount they will have to pay at the end. Not a penny more.
Some of the Implant package price benefits
– Clear, transparent easy-to-understand pricing
– Price free of hidden costs
– Secure price that includes all possible costs
– It is almost always lower than the price calculated on the basis of implanted implants, accessories, and fees.
Price comparison with a specific example
Let’s do a specific calculation as to whether it’s really worth choosing this package price. Let’s count on average prices and a first look at the cost based on the number of implants implanted. Complete dentures fixed on implants are still the subject. The average implant price is 500 EUR, the complete denture requires 8-10 implants, let’s average and calculate with 9 implants here as well. 500 X 9 = 4500 EUR. This is only the price of implants! The aforementioned additional elements and the cost of implantation are not yet included, let alone the long-term, temporary denture, which in turn is part of the package price which is 6,589.00 EUR and includes everything!
In summary, despite the really high prices of implant dentures, there is a solution for those who take responsibility for their health and quality of life. When the quality of the teeth deteriorates to a certain level, it is simply not worth going to see the dentist for many years and paying the also high treatment costs. True, implant-based dentures it’s not cheap, but the implant package price can be a big help. For example, using immediate loading implants, a complete oral rehabilitation (lower and upper jaw) in action at the time of writing this article costs only 13 940 EUR and is completed in 3-5 days.
