The advent of dental implants has revolutionized dental implant denture replacement. The so-called two-phase dental implants first appeared in the mid80s and for a long time, this was the only implant replacement option for people who needed teeth replacement. Then, well over 10 years ago, a new type of implant, that called immediate loading implants and it revolutionized dentures fixed on implants. So, when we talk about dental implant denture, we need to know that there are two different implantation methods available today. Each has its own characteristics, which is important to know in order to make the right decision, whether which one is the most appropriate solution is right for us.

When we start talking about the differences, we are immediately noticing a very important difference, the time it takes to have the dentures made. While for two-phase implants this can be up to 6 months, for one-phase, immediate loading implants this time is 3-5 days! That’s a big enough difference, isn’t it? Especially when you consider that the end result of both solutions is the same, a perfectly functioning denture. This speed is mainly due to the fact that the one-phase implant can be loaded immediately! Nowadays, when people have less and less time for dental implant dentures, this in itself can be a decisive advantage in favor of single-phase implants.

– Simpler implant easier implantation procedure, less inconvenience
– It can also be used in case of significant bone deficiency,

The first important finding may be that dental implant denture is an incomparably better solution compared to a traditional removable prosthesis. So, those who can afford it, choose one of the implant-based dentures since it has innumerable advantages over the prosthesis.
